We ate here for the first time this past weekend. The place is inviting and the pricing is reasonable. We were seated promptly and acknowledged by our server who was friendly and efficient.
My wife ordered Mushroom Swiss burger and I ordered the Rise N Shine (burger with lettuce, tomato, bacon, American cheese and a fried egg. I asked for Cheddar cheese instead of American. We both ordered our burgers medium (warm pink center). My wife received medium well. Mine was well, the egg was hard-fried, and the cheese was suspiciously American (yuck). We ate the burgers anyway since we were really hungry. It wasn't until we were 50% done that the waiter asked how everything was (and I told him). I also ordered an iced tea. Their water is awful and thus their tea is awful. I don't understand why restaurants don't filter their water. All of their beverages would taste better. This is a problem all over the Charlotte area. Anyway, the price was reasonable --- if only the food was made as requested and the water was filtered. We will not return.
