Okay so here it goes, my boyfriend had heard great things about this hospital from his friend. So he made sure when I got pregnant that I delivered here. I'd been here a few times for monitoring when my baby seemed to move less. One night while I was trying to sleep I was in pain & my daughter was moving less so I went to be monitored in triage. The nurse that was taking care of me asked me some questions, it was around 3am when I went in. She asked me when the last time I ate was, I told her around 4pm. She looks at me and says "the last time you fed your baby was 4pm" and gives me a very rude look. My boyfriend steps in and says, babe you ate around 6pm, I have a bad memory so I said oh yeah. The nurse then says "oh okay 6pm is better, I was gonna call CPS on you." I was shocked and so angry. I was already registered for this hospital so I didn't say anything to anyone else out of fear that this woman would end up being my nurse when I delivered. My baby was fine and she discharged me and told me I needed to eat every 2 hours. So I guess even in the middle of the night while I was sleeping I was supposed to eat every two hours. Then comes the day I deliver, my first nurse was wonderful, I loved everything about her, made my experience great. Then the nurse on the next shift was an older lady and she was horrible, she was slow and never available when I needed her. They ended up giving me a new nurse who was great! I loved my labor and delivery nurses, I can't complain there, great experience other then on my papers I put no students allowed and they had students in the room when I delivered. Then I went to the postpartum floor, the nurses were great there. The next day after I delivered nobody brought me any food, for any meal. Luckily my boyfriend got me fast food. My boyfriend and I were looking forward to the celebration dinner after giving birth nobody had even offered it to us, we brought it up to someone and they said "they never offered it to you?" And she said she would fix that. Hours went by, so we brought it up again to the kitchen staff and someone came by and said they would call us with the menu. The girl from the kitchen was so rude, she pretty much said they only had a few things from the menu available and just the way she talked she acted so annoyed and rude. I had so many high hopes for this hospital and was so let down.
