As with others, mine was an exhaustive search for a safe yet comfortable mattress for me and my husband. Our sizes are pretty opposite, and so is our mattress preference. I'm SO grateful to have found Sleep EZ. Not only were Shawn and Jeremy incredibly helpful, but the level of service through the whole process was outstanding. Admittedly, I was almost sick wondering if I made a huge and expensive mistake buying a "build your own" mattress online! It was a decision that (almost 10 years later) I haven't once regretted! My husband has his firmer side and I have a med/soft side. The latex holds its shape and like some others, we periodically flip the layers -not sure it's necessary though. It will be interesting when it's time to move. It's definitely too heavy to move in 1 piece. We'll probably have to take the layers out, and move them individually. All worth it...sleeping "EZ" and having peace of mind knowing it's chemical free.
