I recently received a flyer in the mail for a free exam, $29.00 cleaning, and free xrays from Lydian. Went in and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I got the exam and the xrays but they wouldn't clean my teeth because they said I also needed a deep cleaning, which I had done about 2.5 years ago. When I asked why I couldn't get my teeth polished they said because I had bacteria under my gums and I needed the deep cleaning, I'm no dentist but I'm pretty sure we all have bacteria in our mouths, my gums have some receding but that's due to the fact that I'm almost 70 years old. Had I agreed, the cleaning would have cost me $1,208.00, hows that for sticker shock? Along with 2 crowns and a couple of fillings my entire bill would have come to $5,537.00, how's that one grab you? I'm a low income senior and that price quote, besides almost giving me a heart attack, is WAY out of my financial reach. I guess no one has informed them that there is a recession going on. I would definitely recommend Lydian to anyone that makes a six figure income.
