I went to 3 Guys for an eye exam and contact lens fitting a couple months ago. The guys that work there are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. I had recently gotten new insurance coverage as of the beginning of the year, and some issues arose when they tried to enter my insurance information into the system. They made a few phone calls and were able to work it out on the spot, which I appreciated.
The exam went smoothly. I wanted to try dailies contacts, and so they gave me a few trial pairs. The rx for one of my eyes was in-between two available rx's (when power reaches a certain level, it only goes up in .5 increments and my right eye was at a .25 rx). They gave me the lower rx to try, and I could tell it was slightly blurrier than my left eye, so I came back and asked to try the higher rx. I preferred the higher, and decided to order my contacts then.
However, when my contacts arrived and I picked them up, the right eye had been ordered in the lower rx. I called them, and they sent in a new order right away for the correct lenses. The new lenses took surprisingly long to arrive (2-3 weeks), but when I ran out of contacts, they offered me a few trial pairs to tide me over until my new contacts finally arrived.
One thing - I wish they had acuvue advance for the 2 weeks lenses, but they only have acuvue oasys. Overall I was satisfied with my experience though.
