I was fairly active as a child and teen, but poor body mechanics during years of recreational gymnastics has caused me some long term back and core issues. Add to that being pretty inactive for the last decade, and my back and core issues have been something I've needed to take care of for a while. I started going to Kinetica 2 years ago for physio, pilates (Kearsten), and rmt (Matt) because we wanted to get pregnant and I was worried about how my body would handle the stress of a pregnancy considering my physical fitness. I got pregnant almost immediately after I started going to Kinetica and if it wasn't for their expert, comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach I probably wouldn't have made it through my pregnancy on my own two feet or been able to work until the end. I also started seeing their Naturopath and she's been great for many issues for myself and my now 15 month old. Dr Tanner is great, she provides excellent wholistic health care without too much "woo". I love that Kinetica has such a whole health approach. And they are all so personable and friendly, they even mailed me a card congratulating us on the birth of our child that the whole office signed. I always recommend them to friends, family, and acquaintances.
