This retaurant truly showcases some of the best food that Pittsburgh has to offer. The decor has a very rustic "all-wood-everywhere" feel that somehow manages to be cool without being too pretentious. I highly recommend the foie blonde macarons as a small starter. The pate was light and paired nicely with the hibiscus and pistachio accompaniments. The squid ink pappardelle pasta was amazing (although decidedly un-photogenic, or i would have snapped a picture). The pasta was tender, the flavors were wonderful, and the chunks of lobster were much larger than expected. My only "complaint" was the size of the portions for the amount that you pay. The pasta was available in both half and whole servings, but the half-serving (in comparison to most other restaurants that I've been to) felt more like a quarter-portion. If you are coming hungry, make sure to load up on all of their other offerings or spring for the full portion to make sure that you aren't left wanting more!
