The ambiance at Welcome Diner is excellent for the location and neighborhood it is in. Nestled on the Northwest corner of 10th St. and Roosevelt, it is a perfect fit for this Garfield gem! The service is always great, consistent and on point. I would call the overall genre of the food to be southern, comfort food with a modern twist. The standouts that I've tried thus far are the PB&B Burger and the Big Jim. The handcrafted libations are all done very well and they are not shy with their pours! It comes as no surprise to me that this business is thriving and growing! All day happy hour on Tuesdays. Check it out when you're in the hood or downtown!
