Our group of 4 American college guys visited this empty bar on New Years Day to watch the Rose Bowl on the large projector. The owner greeted us as soon as we came in with a big smile saying they have the best deals in town for American college students-$2 shots and $5 appetizers.
When we sat down, there were no menus available. Instead, the waitress came over and told us that they have 2 burgers and 2 tacos left in stock. The food was great but took a while.
As we we left, the jolly owner poured shots for us and we took shots with him on the house. Very friendly guy.
Overall, we had a memorable experience here as it felt as though we randomly entered the owner's home and he welcomed us with open arms. Not sure if the bar was open in the first place.
