We adopted our dog Dakota from Foothills in November 2012 shortly after moving to AZ. At the time he was overweight, poor vision requiring eye drops, ear infection requiring ear drops, and he had scabs from being attacked by another dog prior to being in the care of Foothills. They were completely up front about all of his needs and we were ready to give Dakota a better life. Foothills referred us to a fantastic vet who still cares for Dakota today. Dakota has had other health challenges since we adopted him, but that is a normal part of adopting an adult dog with an unknown past, which you sign up for when you decide to bring them home. Overall, he's been a healthy and happy dog who is completely part of our family. I thank Foothills for saving Dakota's life and bringing him into ours.
