Christmas has come and gone and it's now time to use up the gift cards! I was given a Best Buy gift card that was purchased and loaded up at this location and was I excited to use it!
I go to Best Buy and wander around and get what I'm going to purchase with my shiny blue card. I go to pay with my gift card and the cashier says to me that there are no funds. I'm confused. He then sends me to customer service for further help and this is where I receive the shocking news...
THE WALGREENS CASHIER TOOK THE MONEY AND DID NOT LOAD AND ACTIVATE MY CARD!!!! I was shocked yes. And annoyed.
I contacted Walgreens customer service as soon as I could and I am now having to send pictures of everything, no biggie. What was once an exciting trip to Best Buy has now turned into a hotmess.
I just want my gift card to work.
So beware when buying gift cards here!! Make sure the cashier loads the funds up the right way and dosent just take your money!!
