I came to get a gel manicure and the woman gave me the display to choose a color. She brought out a polish with the same number but it didn't look as dark. I asked her if the polish would turn darker like the display and she said yes. After the second coat the color didn't change and I brought it up to her. She told me that is why she painted one nail and asked me if it was ok and that was the color I had chosen. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I told her again how I had asked if the color would darken and how she told me it would. So then I told her that she could compare my nails to the display color and see that this isn't the color even though the number in the bottle matched the display number. She refused to bring over the display and ok that's no biggie. But then she brings over a DIFFERENT display that I never looked at and shows me the color that is on my nails and TELLS me that is the color I chose. I told her in that moment that she never showed me that display and to bring over the other one that I chose from. She ignored me and was talking to the other women in their native language and finally comes back with the polish color that I had wanted all along. I felt like I had been played and still made out to seem like it was all my fault. Some customer service. But still, people make mistakes right so I gave them a chance to finish. From that point on she half assed the rest of the manicure. She even filed my nails AFTER the manicure was done and dried. AFTER! Meaning she filed off the polish from the sides of my nails, exposing my nail underneath. SERIOUSLY?!??? Next came the most pathetic excuse of an arm massage that was basically a slap in the face after such a frustrating experience. To top it off, as I was paying (yes I paid because I'm not a jerk), she said that maybe the nail polish was old and that's why it came out different at first. SURE it was. Terrible customer service. Terrible first experience.
