Been meaning to stop by this place for awhile now. There are so much good things to rave about. Drinks - they had a huge selection of beers, including a ton from local breweries. I went with the Raspberry Wit from Sugar Creek (which was awesome) and my boyfriend had the Peach Cider from Windy Hill (he loved it). We got a good amount for the price, too, which is always a win. Apps- we went with the cheese curds. I only had a few because I can't do a lot of dairy (and this meal was HEAVY on dairy) but they were soooooo good! I would definitely get these again and again and again and again. My boyfriend wants to try to the pork rinds next time but I ain't eating that, so he's on his own there. Burgers- my boyfriend had the farmers daughter burger and loved it. I had a build you own black bean burger. I'll be honest, it was just okay. Here's the thing, I'm not a crazy meat lover. I will eat a good steak but for the most part, don't want to eat a lot of meat. The black bean burger was great on flavor but fell apart when I would try to pick it up and eat it. I ended up just eating with a fork. Both burgers came on a Martin's Potato Roll, which... I mean...who doesn't love those!?!?! Fries- we made the mistake of ordering two separate fries to share. We got the nacho fries (my boyfriend loved them, they were a bit much for me) and the rosemary garlic fries (we both loved). However, this was a ton of food! We did not even eat 1/4 of either of them. Tip: just share fries with your boo there. Service- our server, Matt, was great. He was friendly, welcoming, helpful and made our experience super enjoyable. Price- I feel like this place was somewhat overpriced. We spent over $50, which is a bit more than I think it was worth. All in all, for a splurge burger spot - this place is solid. We will definitely be back.
