After driving only Toyota vehicles for over 11 years, I decided to go for something different and get another reliable car this year, a Honda Civic. This was the first car I bought and luckily, I had a great experience at Jay Honda in terms of the salesman, Pat Sheehan. Unfortunately, the several times I went back to Jay Honda (in Bedford) for any type of service since then, I left extremely disappointed due to poor service, poor communication, and poor overall quality of care- the employees are not friendly, they don't greet you for 10+ minutes when you pull in. They don't specify their hours when you drop off your car and are quick to have a bad attitude. They don't fix the problem you come in for, requiring multiple visits back until they do. It is nearly impossible to reach someone over the phone (I once got transferred over 7 times to the service department, and had to give up because no one was answering and it grew to the point of ridiculousness). If and when you finally reach someone, they give you short, rude answers, and forget about getting in soon if you need immediate car service. Yes, I know this is sounding like a bad review so far, but it does get better. I thought for sure that this had a be Honda service all around, and I made the wrong decision by not getting another Toyota, until today. Naively, I gave Jay Honda one last chance, and after them not being able to get me in or answer my questions, I decided to try Motorcars. Immediately, I got through to someone, who happened to be extremely friendly, and was even able to get me in for my maintenance the same day. Once I arrived, I was greeted immediately and my car was serviced right away, even though I was an hour early. Stephanie Talbot was my service consultant and she was extremely helpful, kind, and helped make it an overall wonderful experience. She kept me informed throughout the appointment and walked me to their lounge. Not the mention, their fresh baked cookies make everything better :) She also gave me a card for a car wash, which I desperately needed. I'm so thankful to now know that I can get reliable service to my new car, close to home. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because I was quoted a shorter time than it actually took for my car maintenance to be completed, which was not really an issue since I wasn't in a rush. I will definitely be continuing my services here. Will NOT, however, be going back to Jay Honda!
