After going to multiple places , I finally made the decision to get the iPhone 8 plus. I got the most back from Apple to trade in my current iphone and use it towards the purchase of my new phone. The sales guy who helped said once I receive the new phone, just come back into the store to trade in the phone .l. I received the phone 2 days later which was faster then I expected that same day I came back to trade in my phone. However when I went in, the girl who helped me said that they cant trade in the phone at the store since I technically didn't purchase it there. Since the phone I wanted wasn't in stock, the sales guy who sold me the phone said I had to order it online. Even after explaining my situation, she just told me that the guy must be new and he didn't know they couldn't do that. Not only did she tell me that I have to do the trade in through online, she also said that they don't do credits anymore and they will be giving me a gift card to the Apple store. I left feeling frustrated and upset. I thought the guy just lied to me to get a sale and I ended up spending more money to get my phone. The next day I called and explained my situation and asked if they can just credit me instead of giving me the gift card and the manager said that they could do it but I would need to come into the store. Annoyed that I had to go back , I had made the decision that if they don't credit me back I was going to return the phone and purchase it somewhere else. However a gentleman named Andy helped me and he went above and beyond to make sure everything got fixed and I left happy. I was there for about and hour and half and not only was he patient and helpful, he had such a positive attitude from beginning to end. That's the type of customer service that deserves to be recognized and because of him, Apple kept their sale. Andy thank you again for the great customer service!
