And they wonder why baseball is a dying sport?!?
I just spent 30 minutes reluctantly picking out crappy outfield seats for me and my family. I finally settled on some near the bullpen. At $61 per seat it's a bitter pill. I have a family of 5. I'm gonna be out over $305 to watch a game from horrible seats.
I'm just about to check out and I notice the bottom line. I'm being charged an additional $18 per ticket for the apparent convenience of buying thru my phone. That's an additional $90 on top of the $305. Once the additional taxes I'm pushing $450 to watch a very meaningless game (Reds vs Indians). So apparently I just drove 6 hours away from home to watch a game at a sports bar.
I'm changing my review to two stars just for the mere fact that I went to stadium ticket box early this morning and some dyed-in-the-wool geriatric ticket usher sell me all 5 tickets for the face value. This saving me apex $140(?!?)
