Okay, let's get this out there first. I love Chipotle. I go to other locations frequently, mainly the one on Las Vegas Blvd next to the South Premium outlets. I love having a post-gym meal there as their portions are very filling and the ingredients are fresh and taste great. The first time I came to this Sunset location was in September, and I was very unimpressed with the taste and size of my bowl. I shook that meal off and decided to go for lunch today- 3 months later- and I was let down worse than I was the first time. First of all, the rice serving was smaller than usual. I get no beans, yet I ask for Steak only and they really slack on the portion of meat they gave me. Also to mention, the Steak was not favorably fresh and was not hot to serve. LVBLVD location hooks you up with an appropriate portion, like it should be. I move down the line and get Hot Salsa, Cheese, Sour Cream, and Corn. I then ask for Guac which I know is extra, and they put an appropriate amount into the bowl, which made me happy, yet I wasn't happy when I started eating. The Guac wasn't even fully guac and ready to serve. There was still full chunks and slices of Avocado, unlike any Chipotle I've been to. I'm not a big fan of slices versus actual fresh guac, just my preference, but you should serve what you advertise and actually take time to make the Guac that you charge $2 for. Very unimpressed with my meal here. I got chips and I'm glad I did because I barely wanted to finish my bowl without something else to mix it up. I love this chain, don't get me wrong, but this location continues to let down, lazy staff maybe? I've worked in food before, I know the deal. Maybe we could have been having a bad day, but this taste in my mouth is consistent when I've been here, and from what I hear from friends who visit this location. We need a tune up here. Please.
