Gracylane is a beautiful store with cute things. They used to be located near Heinen's, but as of November 2016 are newly wrapped around the corner next to Talbot's.
Gracylane carries selections of things I love and have trouble finding elsewhere. I come here specifically for the Dona Bela shred scarves (the ultimate gift for any stylish woman), the Vera Bradley line and Alex & Ani jewelry for the teenagers in my life, and Swarovski selection for high-end gifts. The shop is beautifully arranged. Inventory wise, it's a wonderful place to search for a lovely gift for anyone in your life ranging from your mother to your boss. They also do a nice job of packaging, though they no longer carry their gift boxes. It's easy to find a nice gift in any price range.
The service in the store is consistently a little off. I don't expect much at all from gift shop customer service, but I think they've had problems with shoplifting (which is unfortunate), because even I, the most unsuspicious person on earth and $$$ shopper, am very watched and sometimes its uncomfortable. Every time I visit, there's always confusion at the register over something. More then once, I've had employees get feisty with me at basic questions. Their staff seems tired and overworked. That is also unfortunate for the experience.
Frankly, I love their items. That is what keeps me coming back. I'm happy for them and their new location and hopefully this will help iron things out. Just grin and bear it!
