I saw The Nite Owl Barber Shop on a blogTO article promoting the business and decided to tell my fiancé who has been searching for a barber for a couple of years now. To say the least, the search ended this Friday after the wonderful experience we had. The ambience is great. It really reminds you a barber shop from the old days. The actual place itself is a restored barber shop that was closed for the last 10 years. Brian the main Barber and owner of the shop recently restored it. He's been open for the last 6 weeks and his client base is already great. The day we were there he had back to back appointments. The service itself is great, it's very personalized because Brian does all the cuts and there is generally only 2-3 people in the store at once. So everyone gets to know each other while waiting and sitting. My fiancé was very satisfied with his cut, he has been to several barbers like I mentioned before but this time was the first time he left feeling 100% satisfied. He even got some product that Brian recommended as it worked great with his style. The price is reasonable, the location is in the quaint up and coming neighbourhood of long branch. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a unique affordable experience with personality and a great cut or shave! Bring cash, and try to book your appointment online and after 6 o clock so you can avoid paying for parking.
