I love Dunkin Donuts. And when I say "love" I mean in love in a stalker type way. I hunt them down, stare for awhile, then attack the donut line. This DD is located in beautiful Scottsdale and when I visited last weekend I could NOT pass up some sugar and caffeine. The fact it's right next to a CVS just adds even more reason to pull off N. Scottsdale Road. The location is very typical of Dunkin Donuts. I arrived (ready and excited) on a Saturday morning around 10:30 AM. The line was a bit long and the servers a bit slow. This only added to my antsy anticipation. I needed donut holes, and QUICK. Toss in an ice coffee and I was on my way to CVS to get a new travel toothbrush. The donut holes were AMAZING, once again reminding me why I send Valentine cards to DD each February. However, the coffee was not, sadly. One sip and I about choked as the sugar had settled to bottom and it was nasty. (I'm HOPING it was sugar.) I don't remember the last time I had to return a coffee to DD, but this one went back and fast. This delay in my caffeine intake wasn't ideal. Normally this would result in 3 stars at best, but hey.. I can't do that to my sweetheart, DD. 4 stars!
