Tryst is by far my favourite club in Vegas! I have only been to a handful (Tao, XS, Marquee, Lavo), but out of those, this has been the most enjoyable.
The first time, I went with a group of 5 girls, and since we had talked to a promoter (Matt), he walked us to the front, and we each got two free drink tickets - yay! I had a good time, although I don't remember much of this trip anymore...
The second time I came to Tryst (a couple days ago), I went with a group of 9 people - 5 girls and 4 guys. Even though the promoter had told me initially that the boys did not have to pay, he was not there this time to talk to the bouncers / clerks, so the boys ended up having to pay 20 dollars each :( I mean, it's not a HUGE deal, but just unexpected. Again, the girls each got 2 free drink tickets - yay!
After everyone went in, I was a little irked, so I texted my promoter who told me to talk to a guy named Adam Farer, who is apparently the promotions host for XS, but was upstairs managing. I explained the situation, and he gave me 6 more free drink tickets :) Yay! That was easy.
Since drinks are ~15, it was worth it.
That's my storyyyy, but I guess I liked Tryst because the bouncers aren't as dick-y like they were at XS or Marquee, anddd the club is just small enough for me to not lose any of my friends! XS, Marquee, and Tao are great clubs, but just not for me as they are wayyyy to huge and... I get lost :( !
If anyone needs help getting in touch with a great promoter in Vegas, definitely let me know! Your trip will run much more smoothly, and will be cheaper :)
