I was tasked with finding a place for my boyfriend to get his lovely hair lopped off for an important meeting he had in a couple days. I was happy when I saw the photos and the effort that was put into the different styles so I sent a message through yelp, got a response less than 3 mins later and was able to have my appointment scheduled right then and there.
Don't get discouraged, it's tucked inside a building that has multiple shops and salons inside of it so if you can't find it immediately that's why. As soon as you walk in, it is evident why this place has 5 stars. The shop is small but beautiful, it has modern, minimalistic, industrial decor that reminds me of a studio apartment in New York.
We were immediately greeted and offered refreshments, and with no wait time my boyfriend was in the chair less than a minute after we walked in. Good vibes, good music playing.
Smerling was the one who worked on my boyfriends shaggy mane, he took his time and made sure he had a clear understanding of the look that my boyfriend wanted. After everything, his hair looks great. So good, I might have to wife him up.
I'm sure they have won not only my boyfriends business but his loyalty as well. ****Update: Asked my boyfriend his thoughts afterwards and he said that they made him feel special, not just an appointment to get through and they were true artists at their craft. *** So there you have it.
