Adorable little pizza joint in the Shadyside/Bloomfield area. Cute, somewhat authentic and hipster ambiance, with pizzas made right in front of you. Keep in mind that this is a little upscale, $12-16 for a 15-inch, generally light pizza. BYOB, so bring a nice wine to pair with it. Pros: nice, open atmosphere. Good service, Giuseppe was very friendly. I got a Carbonara pizza, which I can't recall exactly the kind of meat which was on it, but had no tomato sauce, an egg yolk, some really good cheese and some Italian meat similar to bacon. The chef offered to add more yolks if I desired, which I later asked for. So, authentic, unique Italian food, to say the least. Cons: They only serve pizza, which makes sense. But nothing else. I heard that they possibly serve cannolis other days. Hipster atmosphere. Expensive price for a pizza. If you observe kosher or halal rules, I'd be wary of this place...halal especially, the only meats they serve are pig ones, it seems. So expect to be surprised, don't look for something like your average Papa John's or Dominoes.
