This hotel had good reviews on booking.com so I thought I'd check it out as a cheaper option to staying downtown. It was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. After driving several hours to Madison, I wanted to relax. One of the cool things about Country Inn is they give you free cookies, fruit, and coffee. Unfortunately, as I was checking in, some employees (especially the bellhop) who were lounging in the lobby finished the cookies and coffee. I asked the front desk, if there was anymore, and they said they were all out and I could try again the next day. In the back, I heard two women talking loudly and shouting obscenities at each other. One had apparently brought her son to work. Later, I called the front desk to ask for more soap. No one ever brought it. All in all, the staff were rude and unresponsive. I called Radisson's customer complaint hotline later that day and was told I would receive 5,000 points which means nothing to me because I am not a regular radisson customer. If there was any chance of me becoming a regular Radisson customer, that chance is now lost. I won't ever use the Radisson chain again.
