Since I can't seem to connect with my original salesperson C. A. or the rest of the staff via telephone/live chat/email, perhaps I can connect somehow through this platform...
As of the date of this review, I have had my newly purchased certified pre-owned vehicle for less than a week. My intent was to take my car back to the dealership for additional repairs after paying for parts via special order and going out of my way to come back to have the work done (and be charged more money for labor). I wasn't contacted when the parts arrived to the dealership, so a few days went by before deciding to call them after I was told several times that I would be contacted. The reason I even came to HOB for repairs is because I was under the impression that the dealership was still under its old management-the same management as when I purchased my last vehicle; so when I found out that rentals are no longer allowed as well as price changes for the repairs (like having to pay for parts before any work has been done, then go out of my way to bring my car back so they can charge me for additional work), I was not in the best head space.
HOB apparently allows a salesperson to sit in the wait room and "chat" with customers to see what work is being performed, and to see where their head is regarding investing in a new vehicle. I personally do not feel as if I were taken advantage of, because I had previously contemplated getting a new vehicle-I just didn't expect that to happen so soon considering I just shelled out hundreds of dollars to have my old vehicle repaired. Long story short, I traded in my vehicle for a new one. I think they lucked out with me as a customer, but I would hate for someone who just wants their car fixed to go through this process. It seemed a little shady considering I asked for numbers several times and given the typical "we are running some information right now and you seem to be in the right place..." response.
A day or two later, I see in my mail that I have a sales coupon for a $500 gift card with the purchase of a new/used vehicle, and for whatever reason I cannot get a call back from my salesperson or anyone else from HOB to see if I can redeem it. My purchase isn't even a week old. I just want to follow up with the dealership and not feel like once a vehicle is bought I never hear from the place again.
