We took a date night cooking class. The food turned out delicious and I will make the recipes again but for the cost it was really not worth it. I don't think I would take another class unless some changes were made. The class was $85 per person ($170 for a couple). We had to share a station with another pair and so we didn't really get to cook the whole meal. I would have liked it more if each of the pairs had their own cooking station and ingredients to prepare. For a lot of the time 3 of the four of our group were just standing there watching or dumping spices into a mixture. Additionally the class we took was called new American steakhouse (or something along those lines) and we only got half a steak in the end. For $85 a person I thought we would each get our own steak and be able to cook our whole meal. I understand there are time constraints and so some of the preparation is completed by the sur la table sous chefs but ultimately I don't think I would pay for another cooking class because of the format and the amount of money.
