We all know that it can be a challenge to find a good mechanic who is fair and honest. I'm happy to say I found one right in my backyard. After reading reviews, I visited the shop as I was in need of brake repair. They scheduled me in and then bumped it up earlier at my request. I wound up bringing my car 4 hours earlier than the appt., as I could hear that dreaded scraping noise and wanted to avoid further damage and cost thinking the rotors would need to be replaced.
Well, just as the others experienced, John did not suggest replacing. He said all they needed was some machine work and that resulted in a huge savings. What I feared may cost $400 turned out to be $250 out the door and sooner than expected.
