I had an appointment with X from Energy Windows for Monday, Aug. 14. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He measured the windows and sat down for his spiel. I've had windows installed in another house just a few years ago so know the basics. I rushed him a bit because I don't like the pitch part of sales. Bottom line, $Y was the price. BUT - if I commit now, I'll get a super deal! Well, I couldn't do that so I asked him to send me the quotes via email, confirming he had my email address. He took all of his papers and left. I told him explicitly that I would be replacing windows at some point if not now, in the near future. Two days passed with nothing. I emailed the company, since he hadn't left me with contact information. Someone wrote back saying X was out of the office for a couple of days. Now it's more than two weeks after that and I still never have heard from anyone at the company. I should have paid more attention to the reviews here, which I did read beforehand. Maybe I can help someone else. Meanwhile, I've come into a windfall so will be looking at other companies to get my windows done now.
