I'm glad we found this place! My 4 year old LOVES cupcakes and we occasionally let him pick out a treat. We stopped here and were a little apprehensive because many reviews say their selection of cupcakes is small. Well, their selection IS small (and somewhat eclectic), but they were able to take a plain chocolate cupcake and frost is specially for him with just a plain chocolate frosting.
Now, we understand that we were lucky - we go there early enough that they were still decorating cupcakes and could make one special for him. However, we've been to enough places that won't put that effort in that it made this place special.
To boot, he absolutely LOVED the cupcake and said it was the best he's ever had. I will second that - the cupcakes were wonderful. If we ever went to order a specialty cake I would head to Peridot.
