This is honestly the best place you could go to. I wanted to get a piercing for my 18th birthday, and after reading the reviews and hearing about their deal for 3 free piercings on your birthday I figured I'd try them out. It was a FANTASTIC decision, and I'll be going back for double-lobe and cartilage piercings in the future. I got my bellybutton pierced by Kevin, and it was a great experience! When he saw that I was nervous he started conversations with me about how I was celebrating my birthday, what I was studying in school, etc. It really helped me relax. He explained the procedure very in-depth, and everything was so clean and well-lit. He had me look at where he had marked my bellybutton to get my approval for where the piercing should be. The piercing itself was a little painful, but I think that's mostly due to the fact that he accidently did it on an inhale instead of an exhale, so I tensed up. He put the jewelry in quickly that it only hurt for a second, and was still talking to me the whole time. The staff all have some really crazy piercings, but they are genuinely the kindest and funniest people you will meet. Jacob rang me up, and entertained me with stories about how he broke his bones and some crazy things he's seen in the shop. I highly recommend going to HTC; they're pricier than some of your other choices ($50 for the bellybutton jewelry), but it's worth it for the great staff and clean experience. Take it from someone terrified of needles: HTC is the place to go.
