Despite a couple really awful nights at this bar, I still do enjoy the place. Because, really, how can you not? Cheap booze, decent service, adequately-sized dance floor, and pool tables and chairs in the back, not to mention, when it's fun here, it's been really really fun. It can go from being really crowded to dead empty depending on what's happening that night, but it's usually pretty manageable either way, and you won't have to wait in line for half the night like at the Boat next door. Augusta House is much prettier than the Boat, not quite as stinky yet, and they have a bigger bar with cheaper drinks (I know I already said that, but it's such a big selling point). Sadly, it is not somewhere you can go to escape hipsters and all their annoying habits (you know, drugs and stuff), but some nights the place just fills up with the right kind of people and things go smoothly. And yes to the Jager. $3 shots.
