We have had this deli on our list of Food Network places so thought we'd come in for lunch. Aside from the old decor, dirty walls, dusty picture frames everywhere, and blurry TV's, we hoped for delicious food. My husband ordered the corned beef and pastrami sandwich and I ordered the corned beef hash scramble with a bagel and cream cheese. The corned beef was wonderful but so overcooked in my scramble. Tough little bits of meat in the way overcooked eggs. I had to add salt and pepper and it was still tough and bland. SAD! The bagel was over toasted and tough. The sandwich on rye was very GOOD but his home fries were so overcooked, they were tough and inedible.
Our waitress was a wonderful, very old woman who took great care of us!
Overall, we will not come back and feel so sad. We prefer to patronize local businesses but will cross this one off our list. :-(
