OMG. Next time, I will sacrifice being broke to stay in a safer, CLEANER hotel. The cleaning lady needs retraining or something; the walls were covered in God only knows what, the floor in the bathroom had what appeared to be dried vomit. I wouldn't dare touch the floor with my bare feet. Glad I brought my own blankets! The ceiling in the bathroom was damaged and falling down right above the shower. The toilet was beyond words.
The security was ok, helped us keep an eye on our UHAUL and auto hauler. The check in staff were awesome and we're happy to accommodate our service dog. The graveyard lady was a mess. She was looking for a reason to kick people out and never even checked our papers to verify our service animal before she came at us sideways. She got very defensive at the gate, and was exceptionally rude.
My brother (local) knew that some of the guests were prostitutes as he has kicked them off many a property. The door doesn't even latch! You have to lock the deadbolt coming and going!! The whole vibe is about as ghetto as you can get.
Trying to save money isn't worth the hassle.
