Right next door to Casa Loma (the huge castle). Lovely mansion that belonged to the Austins who controlled the Dominion Bank and gas company in Toronto. Great 45 minute tours of the whole house ... and pictures are allowed!! $9 admission w/ tour included. They take you through all three floors of the house. Definitely a must see if you love historic homes. Free entrance to the garden areas.. they encourage you to have picnics there! :) So cute ... reminds me of cottages. Also.. they host neat events here like the Downton Abbey tour and Great Gatsby tea party. :) Parking @ the museum is $9 , but you can score free 1 hour parking on the residential side streets.
