I became familiar with the business after purchasing a Groupon and having taken classes at Brass Vixens (the Toronto pole dancing studio).
Pros:
- They have drop in classes which work on your balance, strength and flexibility
- Absolutely ADORED the Stiletto Strut class; it was so sexy and empowering
- The studio was spacious and beautiful
- The classes are for girls only. this definitely helps when you're not 100% sure of your flow/movements. JUST GO WITH IT! :D
- Because Brass Belles was previously known as Aradia Brampton (or so I'm led to believe), there is a consistency in the class teachings with the Brass Vixen (formerly known as Aradia Toronto) pole dancing classes
- They sell poles, clothing, etc. so if you want to rock their gear... by all means (that's pretty cool)!
Cons:
- The studio is located in Downtown Brampton (which is out of the way for me); on the flip-side, it's great that Brampton even has a pole dancing studio!
Nonetheless, I think this would be an AMAZING place to hold a Girl's Night Out, Bachelorette Party, Divorce Party (do people actually host those?). Think of it as a little "sexy-time" treat for us girls. ;)
