I had an excellent experience at this salon today. I had to get my (prematurely very grey) roots touched up--just one month ago, I had the root colour done at my usual expensive Yorkville salon and I have no idea what happened but within the month I already had over an inch of grey regrowth at the roots. I didn't want to pay that exorbitant price to do the roots again so soon, so I decided to try D2E since it's on my way home from work. I'm so glad I did! The stylist/colorist (I think her name was Lilliana?) was completely down-to-Earth with no affectations and no bull--made me feel completely at home. She listened to what I wanted to do with my hair, and did the color and trim exactly as I specified. She took her time styling it exactly as I wanted as well. (And the male stylist there, who was working on another customer's hair, was absolutely hilarious describing his dodgeball experiences! I busted out laughing a few times.) Their price list is far cheaper than my usual salon and it's very close to the Runnymede subway station. And cool music--it was some subdued Led Zeppelin, Doors, Who. Fun! I'm totally converted--I will return to this salon to do my root touch-ups from now on. It was an all-around highly positive experience.
