It's true, I have an addiction to frozen yogurt. This addiction started with a business trip a few years back to Pinkberry in NYC. Since then it's been like a personal goal to try all the frozen yogurt places I can.
The worst part is Akron seems to really be behind in the frozen yogurt era so I would drive up to Cleveland or Columbus or eat it for all my meals while traveling to a larger city. BUT.NO.MORE.
Menchies is self serve with around 16 different flavors. They also provide small cups so you can taste the flavors first. I tend to be a bit repetitive so I went with the plain tart, as usual. YUM! Once you get past the daunting task of picking one of your flavors (or as many as you want) you then get to pick the toppings. Fruits, cereals, candy, nuts, anything you want! I love self serve yogurt because sometimes I want only 2 raspberries and a whole lotta chocolate or all captain crunch and strawberries. It's up to you to create just how you want it!
The prices were also good and comparable to other froyo places. This will be a dangerous place for me, I know it. With a very eye pleasing store and a very stomach filling bowl, you cannot go wrong!!
