After shopping for furniture x3months, we settled on Mega in Tempe on Elliott. We purchased multiple pieces of furniture for 3 rooms. The purchase was made on a Thursday with Saturday delivery. They showed up this afternoon, with a 15 min. notice (I was told they call first, usually with a 1 hr notice, but it was fine, as I was home all day waiting anyways). Two of the major pieces of furniture we purchased were the wrong items. The delivery person, who spoke spanish, was very adament with me that they brought me the right couch. No, you did not, I know what I bought, and that is not the couch that I bought. I immediately called our sales person, Gary, who redirected me to the manager, "Vic." In the end, I will not get the pieces that I purchased today, as was ordered and agreed upon at the time of the sale. I am told I have to wait until Tuesday for them to correct THEIR mistake because that is the soonest they have time available. That is NOT acceptable to me, and I feel if they cared at all about keeping customers and a decent reputation then this mistake that THEY made would be corrected within 24 hours max. They would work an hour of over time to get me my items today, as promised, ideally. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER step foot in another Mega furniture store again. There are a hundred other furniture stores to choose from within a reasonable distance with just as good prices and items and FAR superior service I am sure.
