How could I skip reviewing Heinen's? Maybe it's just that I know them well and shop there so regularly that they became an assumption in the back my mind. They're pretty good at the grocery game.
My favorite things about the store are the following (not necessarily in order)
* they'll track down any product that you want including wine
* speaking of wine, they have two very good wine people. Ken and Greg.
* Ken and Greg serve a selection of wine samples 7 days a week
* they are both very knowledgeable about their products and helpful
* $1 gets you a sample in a glass and anywhere btw. 4 - 7 samples
* $.25 gets you a plastic cup with samples
* did I mention I like the wine department?
* the seafood and meat departments are very good
* get the baguette frozen from the bakery and bake at home. Awesome.
