This was my favorite museum uptown charlotte. They had some really nice pieces and I honestly would be interested in purchasing. It's in the museum area and has some pretty unique architecture to it. The tickets are a reasonable price. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. I was able to explore the art. I liked the gift shop as well. I wish the gift shops was bigger. Overall The museum had a lot of blank space and I really wish there was more or they used all of the space to show art. In addition, I wish they had some art that remained to show the African American or black journey or highlight the history in retrospect to Charlotte. I will venture back to this museum to attend their events because I am intrigued. I recommend and think it's a great place for a date night, tourist, or someone who wants to explore their city.
