I've ended up at this space randomly, twice now. I've loved it every time. Once was for a Yelp event I didn't know about until someone dragged me along (back in my non-yelping days). The other was for a DJ dance party type of affair. The art is awesome and the events usually fit perfectly into the mix.
I agree with Cara's assessment of the shady vibe when approaching the location. The first time I drove up, I thought I was headed over to a murder factory. Ok, that's a huge exaggeration, but I at least thought I was going to some underground sort-of space that might be a little worse for wear. Holy wow, was I wrong.
In terms of studio space, it looks awesome. There appears to be a great mix of the artful types creating a good mini-community. Since I can't draw a straight line, let alone paint or sculpt a masterpiece, I have to rely on others to make awesome arts for me. This is a great place to find those awesome arts. If you have a chance to visit this place, do it. It's one of those hidden gems of Cleveland that deserves massive recognition.
