My friend and I stopped here on a small road trip. We got there early and parked on the Nevada side. We chose the Hoover Dam Tour that is a 1 hour guided tour for $30. It was definitely worth it! The next tour we could get was a few hours away so we watched the movie, saw the exhibits, and walked along the Hoover Dam. The tour started with the Powerplant Tour before breaking off. Our tour guide did a great job of explaining this all before starting. The guides were knowledgeable about the Hoover Dam and answered questions throughout. Our tour guide for the Hoover Dam part was hilarious and made the tour even more memorable (try to get Tom)! After the tour we had learned a lot from the information provided and it was incredible to see inside the powerplant and the Hoover Dam.
