I was a student here quite some time ago. It was a mixed bag, and my particular situation would not apply to everyone. However, I am posting now mostly to inform current or prospective students: All EDMC-owned schools, including The Art Institute of Phoenix, have lost their accreditation due to federal action against the accreditation agency. It is no longer advisable to attend school here. Per their own website: "Notice to students and prospective students: Education Management Corporation campuses have been placed on probation by their accreditor, the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools ("ACICS"), based on financial stability standards." I hope debt forgiveness will be on the table for past students, whose degrees are basically invalidated now.
