Hey, did you know there was a local party store in Lakewood? I didn't, but I do now! While I was on a fiesta-planning journey through Cleveland last week, I was annoyed to find that I'd have to drive all the way out to Middleburg Heights just to find a party store--and a chain one at that. Boo, not good. I decided to put off that trip until I finished the rest of my errands, and I'm oh-so glad I did! As I was perusing the Lakewood area for record stores, Detroit Avenue had a wonderful surprise for me. Through the glimmering light of hope, I strained my eyes to see It's A Party, sitting pretty right in front of me even when all internet search had said, "no stores nearby." Elated with joy, I bopped out of my car after a sharp u-turn that pissed a few drivers off. Just kidding... although I considered it. Don't get me wrong, this store is not a huge retail party retailer, but it does the trick and does it locally. I'll take a few less options for supporting a CLE business owners' livelihood. Besides, I found everything I needed: they have balloons, small helium tank, pinatas, decorations, favors and more! Next time you're planning a little party or a larger event, try stopping by It's A Party first. Give a local shop a try and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
