A friend of mine brought me here for the first time a few months ago. It was nice and relaxing. I then found a Groupon and my mom and I decided to cash it in for a girls night last night and it was just as awesome as the first time.
The staff is super attentive, friendly, helpful, and funny. Everyone is greeted rather quickly as they walk in the door.
The ambience is nice. I really like the openness and natural light from their large windows. There is a variety of seating options, including high top tables, low top tables, couches, and even a recliner or you can stand at the wine bar (though last time I was there, there were chairs at the bar, but they may move them on weekend or during live music nights).
There was live music last night (Friday), which was great. My only complaint about the music is that it can get a little loud and "echoey," I'm guessing from the materials the wall/floor are made of. Even when we were sitting toward the back away from the music, it felt like we competed with it to hold our conversation.
Their wine is very delicious! My personal favorite is the Gentle Sin (white) and their Blueberry wine (it almost tasted like it had a subtle carbonation to it, which I really liked!). Beside the flavor, the color is just so vibrant and fun! My mom is a red wine drinker and she liked most of their red wines (I think the Cabernet was her favorite). The labels on some of the wines are so artsy and beautiful that I just had to keep the bottle.
They offer cheese and bread plates and some other light snack options. Though they don't have a full kitchen menu, Sugar River Pizza is just across the way and they will deliver it to you without the delivery charge (if they even have one regularly).
All in all, two giant thumbs up from me. I will be returning for more girls nights for sure!!
