I recently purchased a certified "pre-owned" car from Avondale Toyota and was pretty pleased with the experience. They gave me the price right up front and didn't tell me to meet with this or this manager or anyone else. The salesman ran the numbers and was the only person I was in contact with. They were not pushy at all. I test drove the car and decided to go back the following night and check it out again. The salesman I worked with unfortunately was not working but I was still able to call him on his cell and he made sure that I was able to have someone else show me the car. I decided to buy and the process was pretty easy. I was in and out within 2 hours-and they gave me a lot more money than I expected on my trade in. As far as car dealerships go-the way they do things appears pretty honest. The "One Person-One Price" policy works for me-they didn't have any shmarmy managers come in to try to talk you into something you can't afford. As I said before, they were up front with all the costs, and there were no hidden costs I wasn't expecting. Another bonus I didn't know about, because it's Avondale the tax rate seemed to be lower than it is in other cities around the valley.
