I left my old review up, so people can see how I used to feel about this place. My husband and will never set foot here again.
We chose Sinatra to celebrate TWO special occasions--our wedding annviersary, and my husband's birthday (they are a couple of days apart). With the infinite choices out there in Las Vegas, we chose Sinatra. Big mistake.
Our bill was over $340, and yet, they charged us for BOTH my husband's birthday dessert AND our anniversary dessert!!!
30 years of fine dining, and we've never experienced such a thing. We are the type of Wynn guests that get a rep assigned to us during our many stays--and this is how you treat us?
Obviously, with the amount of travel and fine dining that we do, and the fact that our bill was already over $340, this is NOT about money!
It's about the tackiness and low brow move, of a restaurant that bills itself as fine dining at a 5 star resort.
The server repeatedly acknowledged our anniversary, and my husband's birthday. The two desserts even had "Happy Anniversary" and "Happy Birthday" written on their respective plates--so it's not like they didn't know. We were shocked, paid the bill, along with a generous tip, and left completely aghast.
If the restaurant has a particular dessert designated for people celebrating a special occasion that they do not charge for, then the server should have TOLD US so we could make an informed decision. Also, if this were the case, then he would have presumably brought us that dessert too. Our server said "Happy Anniversary" and "Happy Birthday" and then PROCEEDED TO ASK US WHAT WE WANTED FOR DESSERT. So he completely bamboozled us into ordering TWO desserts that we otherwise would not even have ordered.
Disgusting! Completely unworthy of both the names "Sinatra" and "Wynn".
