I would not recommend going here. This is now East Valley Medical and they are horrible. First, they couldn't get me in for 2 months. Then, when I finally got in, I was not told that I wouldn't be seeing my regular Dr at the appointment, I was not notified at all of this before. (Come to find out my Dr was "on leave" and/or resigned I am still not sure yet). They also didn't notify me that they were changing so that I could double check my insurance coverage and was also not notified that I would be seeing an NP and not an MD. Anyways, the Dr I did see was Nancy Erdmann and she had terrible bedside manner. Then, when I tried to get a regular prescription filled (not new or changed) I spent 3 WEEKS trying to get a refill because they only gave 1 refill (not the year refill I usually get) and I couldn't get anyone to send over a new prescription refill or fill out the fax for a refill that was sent over by the pharmacy. Finally, the day before the prescription ran out they sent over the refill paperwork. This is after multiple calls and messages to the office along with multiple faxes from the pharmacy and 2 in person visits to the Dr office to help stress that the refill was needed ASAP. Then when the prescription gets put through, it was wrong. The pharmacy caught it and had to send it back to get revised.A note about refills, I was later told after calling that they now only give 3 month refills and you have to make an appointment every 3 months to get them refilled. I also requested medical paperwork and they couldn't get it because they didn't have access to the old system so they didn't have it on file and couldn't get it. While Dr Shipman is a good Dr, I will never go to this office again. Also, I would like to point out that multiple people I have talked to said the same thing and will not go to East Valley.
