What can you say? Whole Foods satisfies an important niche and does some things very well. The selection of odd items is impressive. The fish "butcher" is impressive. So is the selection of organic meats, and organ meats. Chicken feet! The produce is great, and the bread and sweets are stupendous. But the hot bar is sadly in need of more attention. If you don't get there right when the food is set out, it is quite possible that it will be dried out, messed over, and/or otherwise unappetizing by the time you do get there! The store should learn from its Lake Mead location, which has a far superior, and better maintained hot bar. The customer service has never been amazing here. (That's not what you come for. You simply endure it for the sake of the products). You often cannot even find someone to help you when you are looking. But the staff behind the butcher and fish monger are usually excellent--a truly bright spot in the store. The recent renovations are welcome.
