If I could give no stars I would, unfortunately. This shop came recommended to us from a trusted friend and I should have trusted previous reviews and stayed away.
Sent a little cousin of ours there with a simple maxi dress she needed cut an inch tops into a long waterfall type bottom. The hem was a natural hem as the fabric of the dress is supposed to fray
I called ahead for her, being she is young & this is her prom dress, got appointment and everything set up At the last minute my office was busy and my cousin went alone however I thought we were safe being I did my leg work WRONG
When she came back she was concerned about the dress because at the fitting Anna cut the straps off and didn't seem to understand what she was talking about I figured it was an age/language barrier & called the shop asked her NOT to touch the dress until we looked at it again. She agreed to a time on sat 05/02 we showed up she wasn't there and a sign on the door stated she was out of town until Tuesday
Needless to say Tuesday we show up my cousin try on the dress which has approximately a foot off the front and a tail in the back now with a very visible hem in thread that doesn't match and you can now see in the side of a 17 year old girls prom dress
For lack of having a teenaged meltdown or 911 needing to be called we told her to change Anna would not give us the botched dress unless we paid $50 cash being prom is in 9 days we paid and off on the hunt for either a new dress or a miracle seamstress we go!
NOT HAPPY ANNA you saw the little girl tear up and almost pass out and then yelled at her WE WILL BE BACK FOR THE MONEY AFTER I FIX THE DRESS SITUATION
